DWI Trial Attorney - I am a former cop and attained the level of Master Texas Peace Officer before leaving Police work to attend the Universtiy of Texas Law School in 1990. I opened my Criminal Defense practice in 1992 and have tried cases throughout Central Texas ever since. I have represented clients charged with Capital Murder (death penalty cases), Murder, Robbery, Assaults, Sex Crimes, Federal Drug Conspiracies and every Misdemeanor you can think of. In 2001, I began concentrating on the defense of those charged with DWI related cases. I am certified as a Practitioner and Instructor of the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and own three Intoxilyzer 5000 Instruments.
Specialties:
I received my Phlobotemy license to assist those who had their blood taken by the police. I am certified as a Breath Test Operator and Maintanence Technician. I am also trained in the Drug Recognition Expert program. When cutting edge issues enter in to the discussions of my field of practice I make it a point to know as much as, and more than, the best and brightest police have to offer. If they get the training - I obtain it, sometimes before they do.
